I have your blind spot mirrors and really like them, but one has spots that has come on it and I need to know how to remove it so I can put a new one on.

Hello Carolyn:
You may notice on the instruction sheet these mirrors do require minor maintenance in the form of one or two drops of car wax, twice per month. This will prevent brown rust spots.
To clean them, use chrome polish, then keep them clean with car wax.
This problem is not due to bad weather. It only occurs on the West Coast of California due to acid fog.
If the mirror face is too far gone, we would recommend replacing them with the all new MaxiView USA (no maintenance required).
